About Us
LOHS Asian American Student Union
We are Lake Oswego High School’s Asian American Student Union! Our club was established in September 2020 with the goals of providing a supportive space for Asian American students and sharing our culture with the local community. Since then, we have grown to be the largest club in the school and created lasting relationships with the Lake Oswego area. While it was undoubtedly difficult to start a club in the middle of a pandemic, we have successfully hosted multiple school and community activities and our efforts have been recognized by the school district, local organizations, the Lake Oswego Review, and Mayor Joe Buck. We hope to continue serving our community by providing more activities for everyone to enjoy!

Special Thanks
This event could not be possible without the community's support and we'd like to give a special thanks to a few groups that have been crucial to the planning of this event.
City of Lake Oswego
The initial funding of the Asian Cultural Festival was granted through a City of Lake Oswego Municipal Grant; the city generously awarded $10,000 for an Asian Cultural Festival open to the community. Without the grant, it would've been nearly impossible to host a feature-dense, free event for the community.
Lake Oswego High School
Lastly, we would like to thank the staff and administrators of Lake Oswego High School for their continued support for both the Asian American Student Union and the Asian Cultural Festival. A special acknowledgement goes to Mrs. Foster, our incredible club advisor, and Mrs. Colyer, our principal.
